The Freezeout Parameters in Heavy-Ion Collisions
نویسنده
چکیده
It is shown that the freezeout parameters estimated in heavy-ion collisions all have the common property that the entropy density s normalized to T 3 is constant. The value of s/T 3 has been taken from lattice QCD simulations at zero baryo-chemical potential μB and assumed to remain constant at finite μB in a hadron resonance gas model. This implies that the hadronic matter in rest frame of produced system can be determined by constant degrees of freedom. The entropy content is reflected in the multiplicity of produced particles in final state. We made predictions for freezeout parameters at very low temperatures. Furthermore, we found that the strangeness degrees of freedom are very essential at low incident energies.

A universal description for the freezeout parameters in heavy-ion collisions
It is shown that the freezeout parameters estimated in the heavy-ion collisions all are well described by a constant value of the entropy density s divided by T . The value of s/T 3 has been taken from the lattice QCD simulations at zero baryochemical potential μB and assumed to remain constant for finite μB. This implies that the hadronic matter in rest frame of produced system can be determin...
متن کاملChemical Freezeout in Heavy Ion Collisions
Derek Teaney Department of Physics, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY 11973-5000 (Dated: February 8, 2008) Abstract We construct a hadronic equation of state consistent with chemical freezeout and discuss how such an equation of state modifies the radial and elliptic flow in a hydrodynamic + hadronic cascade model of relativistic heavy ion collisions at the SPS. Incorporating chemical f...
متن کاملRealistic expanding source model for invariant one-particle multiplicity distributions and two-particle correlations in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.
We present a realistic expanding source model with nine parameters that are necessary and sufficient to describe the main physics occuring during hydrodynamical freezeout of the excited hadronic matter produced in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. As a first test of the model, we compare it to data from central Si + Au collisions at plab/A = 14.6 GeV/c measured in experiment E-802 at the AGS. ...
متن کاملModeling Magnetic Field in Heavy ion Collisions Using Two Different Nuclear Charge Density Distributions
By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...
